Lions Practice Squad: Kris Durham Signed

The Detroit Lions have added another player to their practice squad: wide receiver Kris Durham. Durham tweeted on Sunday morning that he is en route to Detroit, and Anwar Richardson has confirmed that the Lions are signing Durham to the practice squad.

According to Dave Birkett, Durham is one of Stafford's "throwing buddies" in the offseason. He was released during the final round of cuts by the Seattle Seahawks, and he played his college ball at Georgia.

With Durham joining the practice squad, it now consists of six players: RB Stephfon Green, WR Patrick Edwards, WR Kris Durham, OG Rodney Austin, LB Carmen Messina and CB Ross Weaver. This leaves two more open spots, although with the Lions expected to sign cornerback Drayton Florence, chances are the player who gets cut will end up on the practice squad.
