Detroit Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh was asked on Wednesday about the comments made by San Francisco 49ers offensive tackle Joe Staley earlier this week. In case you missed it, Staley basically trashed the Lions' defensive line by calling them cheap and overrated and mocking the notion that some people consider them the best D-line in the NFL. Suh responded by calling Staley's comments "laughable," among other things. From the Free Press:

"I find it very interesting and laughable sometimes, but it’s not my concern," Suh said when told of Staley’s comments. "I don’t go against him. The times that, I guess, I have, I’ve never had an issue with him. If he has an issue with me, he knows where to find me."

Suh went on to say that "people are going to say what they want to say" and that comments like Staley's don't "really mean (expletive)" to him.

Suh was also asked about the rumors that he is dating Olympian Lolo Jones. She already denied the rumors last week, and Suh laughed them off while managing to get in another shot at Staley at the same time.

"Ha ha, that’s funny. Real funny. Just like Joe Staley’s comments," Suh said as he walked away, ignoring a follow-up question about what is his relationship with Jones.

If the Lions and 49ers finish in the same spot in their respective divisions in 2012, they will play again in San Francisco next season. Before then, let's hope they see each other again in January, as that would mean that the Lions returned to the playoffs.
