- The Detroit Lions' official site has some cool videos worth watching that were posted this week: Jim Schwartz breaks down a play from the 49ers game, Cliff Avril wired for sound against 49ers and Ndamukong Suh puts his photographic memory to the test.
- Drayton Florence, who was placed on injured reserve this week with the designation to return later in the season, is planning to "be back in time to make the playoff run."
- As pointed out by Tom Leyden, the Lions have a five-game winning streak against teams from the AFC. During the last four games of that streak, Matthew Stafford has put up some ridiculous numbers.
- According to Tim Twentyman, there have been a record number of points scored through the first two weeks of the NFL season.
- Dominic Raiola thinks adding Mikel Leshoure to the offense will be very big for the Lions.
- The Lions come in around 14th in this week's consensus NFL power rankings.
- I'll just let Scott Fujita sum up my thoughts on the replacement officials.
- Jim Schwartz is expecting a lot of ticket requests for Sunday's game ... from friends of his wife.
#Lions @jschwartzlions - I'm not the most friendly guy, but my wife has a lot of friends (in Tennessse). She'll get a lot of ticket requests
