NFL power rankings, Week 7: Lions see very small jump

The Detroit Lions barely moved up in this week's NFL power rankings.

Jason Miller

The Detroit Lions' win over the Cleveland Browns improved their record this season to 4-2. It did not do much for their standing in this week's NFL power rankings, though. The Lions only moved up one spot in four of the power rankings we examine each week, and one set of rankings kept them in the same spot as last week. Take a look:

The Cincinnati Bengals, Detroit's next opponent, are ranked seventh (SB Nation), eighth (ESPN), eighth (CBS Sports), 10th (FOX Sports) and 13th (Pro Football Talk). Like the Lions, the Bengals have a 4-2 record and are in first place in their division. Whichever team wins on Sunday should get a nice boost in next week's power rankings.
