  • Per Aaron Wilson, the Detroit Lions worked out defensive backs DeMarcus Van Dyke, Curtis Marsh, Kip Edwards and DeQuan Menzie this week. Menzie was with the Lions this past summer before being let go at the end of August.

  • Nate Burleson has already been ruled out for this week, but he is continuing to make progress in his recovery from a broken arm.
  • Corey Hilliard didn't have much to say about his knee injury when asked by reporters on Tuesday.

  • Matthew Stafford, who grew up in Dallas, once dressed up as a Cowboys player for Halloween.

  • Cornerback Jacob Lacey is once again a free agent after being released by the Minnesota Vikings. The Vikings had just re-signed him last week.

  • There have been a lot of close games in the NFL this season.
