The Detroit Lions didn't see a big increase in this week's NFL power rankings, but they did move up across the board after beating the Dallas Cowboys. Actually, the Lions moved up to 10th in four out of the five power rankings we examine each week. Only one set of rankings has the Lions outside of the top 10 for the time being. Take a look:
- SB Nation: 11th (up from 14th)
- ESPN: 10th (up from 11th)
- CBS Sports: 10th (up from 11th)
- FOX Sports: 10th (up from 12th)
- Pro Football Talk: 10th (up from 12th)
Next up for the Lions are the Chicago Bears a week from Sunday. First, the Bears have the Green Bay Packers on Monday night next week, and Chicago is 17th (SB Nation), 14th (ESPN), 12th (CBS Sports), 13th (FOX Sports) and 15th (Pro Football Talk) in this week's power rankings. There's clearly some disagreement over where the Bears belong, but whatever happens against Green Bay will likely help change that going into their matchup with the Lions.
