On Wednesday, we kicked off our latest set of approval polls with Detroit Lions head coach Jim Schwartz. Next up is Lions general manager Martin Mayhew.
When we last did a poll on Mayhew before the start of the 2013 season in September, he received a 70 percent approval rating. This was actually down from the 73 percent approval rating he received back in June. Like Schwartz, Mayhew's rating dropped over the course of the summer based on what happened in training camp and the preseason, although not nearly as drastically.
This time around, Mayhew has a 3-1 start for the Lions in his back pocket. Also, offseason moves to bring in guys like Reggie Bush, Glover Quin and Ziggy Ansah, among others, have looked like pretty good ones through the first part of the season.
So, do you approve of the job Mayhew is doing as GM of the Lions? Vote now and leave your thoughts in the comments.
