NFL power rankings, Week 6: Lions fall, but not much

The Detroit Lions slightly dropped in this week's NFL power rankings.

Jeff Hanisch-USA TODAY Sports

As expected, the Detroit Lions dropped in the Week 6 edition of NFL power rankings following their loss to the Green Bay Packers. However, they did not fall very far in the latest set of power rankings. Perhaps people are aware of how big of an impact Calvin Johnson's absence had on the game, and in turn they decided not to dock the Lions too much for the defeat. Take a look:

The Cleveland Browns, Detroit's opponent this week, are on the rise in power rankings after winning three straight games. They are ranked 19th (SB Nation), 16th (ESPN), 19th (CBS Sports), 17th (FOX Sports) and 13th (Pro Football Talk).

Even though they're 3-2 just like the Lions, the Browns are not quite as highly thought of, as evidenced by this week's power rankings. Hopefully the Lions will make sure that remains the case with a win in Cleveland on Sunday.
