NFL power rankings, Week 11: Lions on the rise

The Detroit Lions are on the rise in the latest set of NFL power rankings.

Matt Marton-USA TODAY Sports

The Detroit Lions moved up across the board in this week's NFL power rankings. After beating the Chicago Bears and taking control of the NFC North, this isn't a huge surprise, although I can't say I expected one set of rankings to have the Lions all the way up at No. 6. If they keep winning, perhaps the Lions will make a serious run at the top five.

Here are this week's rankings:

Unlike the last four games, this week's opponent does not have the same record as the Lions. Instead, the Pittsburgh Steelers are a disappointing 3-6, and their placement in this week's power rankings reflects that. They are 26th (SB Nation), 24th (ESPN), 26th (CBS Sports), 26th (FOX Sports) and 25th (Pro Football Talk). If they want any chance of getting out of the 20s at some point in the near future, the Steelers need a win over the Lions on Sunday.
