In Week 11, the Detroit Lions' future opponents combined to go 3-3. Here's a look at how each team performed:
Week 12 - vs. Buccaneers (2-8) - beat Falcons, 41-28
How 'bout them Bucs? Tampa Bay is now on a two-game winning streak after dismantling the Falcons in this game. The Bucs were actually up 38-6 at one point before Atlanta made the score look a little more respectable. Bobby Rainey led the way for Tampa Bay with 30 carries for 163 yards and 2 touchdowns.
Week 13 - vs. Packers (5-5) - lost to Giants, 27-13
Scott Tolzien managed to throw for 339 yards in this one, but he didn't have any touchdowns and threw 3 interceptions. Combine that with an ineffective running game and a pick-six by Jason Pierre-Paul in the fourth quarter and it's no surprise that Green Bay lost again.
Week 14 - at Eagles (6-5) - beat Redskins, 24-16
Philadelphia was actually up 24-0 after three quarters in this game. Washington managed to make it interesting with a pair of long touchdown passes and a pair of 2-point conversions in the fourth quarter, but their comeback came up short. As a result, the Eagles are now in first place in the NFC East.
Week 15 - vs. Ravens (4-6) - lost to Bears, 23-20 (OT)
Baltimore led 10-0 after one quarter in this game, which included a lengthy weather delay. Chicago battled back on multiple occasions, though. At the end of regulation, it was the Ravens that needed to battle back, and they did just that by nailing a game-tying field goal as time expired. They weren't able to do anything in overtime, though, leading to a Chicago victory.
Week 16 - vs. Giants (4-6) - beat Packers, 27-13
Eli Manning went 25 for 35 for 279 yards, 1 touchdown and only 1 interception. He helped the Giants win their fourth straight game, putting them at 4-6 after a 0-6 start. New York is now amazingly in the mix for the NFC East title.
Week 17 - at Vikings (2-8) - lost to Seahawks, 41-20
Believe it or not, but the Vikings were only down 17-13 with 48 seconds left in the second quarter. Then Seattle added a late touchdown before halftime and proceeded to blow the doors off the Vikings. It eventually got to 41-13 at one point thanks in part to 4 turnovers by Minnesota.
