Lions injury report: Ziggy Ansah remains out

Detroit Lions defensive end Ziggy Ansah again missed practice on Wednesday with an ankle injury.

The Detroit Lions held their second practice of the week on Wednesday, but their first official injury report only just came out. Included in the injury report is confirmation that defensive end Ziggy Ansah once again missed practice with an ankle injury. He was also out on Tuesday, and he was seen wearing a walking boot. This is an indication that he is probably not going to play this week, at least not as things currently stand.

In other injury news, wide receiver Calvin Johnson returned to practice after sitting out on Tuesday. Wide receiver Nate Burleson also took part in practice again, but there is still no definite word on his status for Sunday's game against the Chicago Bears.

Here's the Lions' full Wednesday injury report:

WR Calvin Johnson (knee) - Limited in practice
WR Nate Burleson (forearm) - Limited in practice
OT Corey Hilliard (knee) - Did not practice
DE Ziggy Ansah (ankle) - Did not practice
LB Travis Lewis (ankle) - Did not practice
CB Bill Bentley (knee) - Did not practice
S Louis Delmas (knee) - Did not practice
S Glover Quin (ankle) - Limited in practice
