Lions injury report: Three players miss practice

Three Detroit Lions players missed practice on Thursday.

Mike Carter-USA TODAY Sports

It looks like three regular contributors for the Detroit Lions will be out on Sunday against the Chicago Bears, as offensive tackle Corey Hilliard, defensive end Ziggy Ansah and cornerback Bill Bentley all missed practice again on Thursday. They also missed practice earlier this week, indicating that the Lions are likely going to have to look elsewhere at right tackle, defensive end and nickelback.

On a positive note, linebacker Travis Lewis and safety Louis Delmas both returned to practice on Thursday. This means that only Hilliard, Ansah and Bentley didn't practice. All things considered, the Lions are a pretty healthy team coming out of their bye week.

Here's the Lions' full Thursday injury report:

WR Calvin Johnson (knee) - Limited in practice
WR Nate Burleson (forearm) - Limited in practice
OT Corey Hilliard (knee) - Did not practice
DE Ziggy Ansah (ankle) - Did not practice
LB Travis Lewis (ankle) - Fully practiced
CB Bill Bentley (knee) - Did not practice
S Louis Delmas (knee) - Limited in practice
S Glover Quin (ankle) - Limited in practice
