The Detroit Lions were without seven players at practice on Thursday, but five of them returned to action on Friday, including running back Reggie Bush and defensive end Ziggy Ansah. Bush, as expected, returned after taking Thursday off for precautionary reasons, and Ansah was back after missing a day because of a shoulder injury.
In addition to Bush and Ansah, the Lions got defensive end Israel Idonije and safeties Louis Delmas and John Wendling back on Friday. Wendling actually fully practiced, whereas Idonije and Delmas were limited. Only cornerbacks Chris Houston and Darius Slay remained out for the Lions.
