In Week 15, the Detroit Lions' future opponents combined to go 1-1. Here's a look at how each team performed:
Week 16 - vs. Giants (5-9) - lost to Seahawks, 23-0
Eli Manning has now thrown 25 interceptions this season. He had 5 interceptions on Sunday against the Seahawks en route to another embarrassing loss for New York. The Seattle defense completely shut down the Giants, and the Seahawks scored 23 points thanks to 3 field goals by Steven Hauschka, a 2-yard touchdown run by Marshawn Lynch and a 12-yard touchdown catch by Doug Baldwin.
Week 17 - at Vikings (4-9-1) - beat Eagles, 48-30
Despite not having Adrian Peterson or Toby Gerhart, the Vikings completely dominated Philadelphia on Sunday. Minnesota had a 27-9 lead at one point, and although the Eagles got within 5 points at the end of the third quarter, the Vikings pulled away again and ultimately won by 18 points. Matt Cassel threw for 382 yards, 2 touchdowns and 1 interception in this game, and Matt Asiata ran for 3 touchdowns. Also, Greg Jennings had 163 yards and a touchdown on 11 catches.
