How Lions' final opponent fared in Week 16

A look at how the Detroit Lions' final opponent performed in Week 16 of the season.

In Week 16, the Detroit Lions' final opponent of the 2013 season was not victorious. Here's a look at how the team performed:

Week 17 - at Vikings (4-10-1) - lost to Bengals, 42-14

After trading touchdowns with the Bengals early on in the first quarter, the Vikings seemed like they were going to give Cincinnati a game. Instead, though, the Vikings quickly faded and ended up going into halftime down 28-7. The deficit grew to 42-7 at one point in the third quarter, and as the score suggests, this was a one-sided affair. The Vikings had only 209 total yards, and they turned the ball over 4 times, including 3 interceptions by Matt Cassel. This was an ugly performance by Minnesota.
