- Josh Katzenstein reports that Schwartz has not brought up his job status in meetings with players.
- Aaron Wilson reports that the Lions worked out wide receivers Armanti Edwards, DeMarco Sampson and LaQuan Williams this week. Also, they worked out Carlin Isles, who is apparently the world's fastest rugby player.
- Calvin Johnson declined to comment on Deadspin's report that he has been playing with a partially torn PCL since October.
- As noted by Kyle Meinke, the Lions have now had seven reported concussions this season. The Cincinnati Bengals lead the NFL with nine concussions in 2013.
