The Detroit Lions held their first official practice of the week on Wednesday, and three players were sidelined due to injury. On offense, running back Reggie Bush was out with a calf injury and wide receiver Calvin Johnson didn't practice again because of a knee injury. Hopefully their absence is precautionary more than anything and they will be ready to play by Sunday.
On defense, safety Louis Delmas was absent from practice again. That's no surprise and goes along with his usual routine. Also, cornerback Chris Houston was limited in practice because of a foot injury. He is trying to return this week after missing last week's game against the Green Bay Packers.
Here's a look at the Lions' full injury report, which includes only the aforementioned four players:
RB Reggie Bush (calf) - Did not practice
WR Calvin Johnson (knee) - Did not practice
CB Chris Houston (foot) - Limited in practice
S Louis Delmas (knee) - Did not practice
