With NFL free agency just hours away, we will soon start to find out if all of the speculation surrounding running back Reggie Bush and the Detroit Lions is true. The Lions have been tabbed as the favorites to sign him for quite some time now, and that isn't changing with free agency almost here.
Case in point: Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio reported on Tuesday morning that the Lions "look to be the likely winners" in the Bush sweepstakes. Nothing is concrete, of course, but ESPN's John Clayton reported something similar (via Mike O'Hara):
ESPN Prof. John Clayton 1 minute ago on Reggie Bush: "I think he's going to end up in Detroit."

Again, just because people are predicting Bush to land with the Lions doesn't mean it will actually happen. However, this seems to be a case of where there's smoke, there's fire. Right now, there is a whole lot of smoke, and while we won't know how much fire there is until later on Tuesday, it'd be an upset at this point if Bush lands somewhere other than Detroit.
