Free-agent running back Reggie Bush is set to visit the Detroit Lions on Wednesday, and it's believed that he is already in town. The main part of his visit won't actually be until Wednesday, but the Lions are on the clock when it comes to making their pitch to Bush on why he should sign with them. They have waited for this opportunity for a couple months, and now is their chance to convince Bush to sign with the Lions.
If Bush's visit concludes without him signing with the Lions, he is scheduled to visit three more teams, according to Yahoo! Sports' Jason Cole.
If Reggie Bush gets out of DET, visits with Ariz, wash and Cincy are next. DET and Ariz offering full-time jobs.

The Arizona Cardinals have been mentioned as the biggest threat to lure Bush away from the Lions, although there was a report on Tuesday suggesting that they weren't a realistic option. The fact that a visit is scheduled seems to contradict that report, although I suppose this could be part of a smokescreen to drive up his offer from the Lions.
In any case, it will be key for the Lions to get a deal done before Bush leaves town on Wednesday. If they truly want to land him, they can't afford to let him take other visits. It's possible he could visit other teams and still sign with Detroit, but the best way for the Lions to make sure they get their guy is to sign him before he even leaves the building.
