The contract details have been released for three players the Detroit Lions recently signed. Linebacker DeAndre Levy actually re-signed with the Lions last week, but the details of his contract only came out a few days ago. We also now have the details for the contracts the Lions gave to safety Glover Quin and defensive end Jason Jones, who joined the team on Wednesday.
Levy's new deal is worth $9.75 million over three years, according to Dave Birkett. Levy received a $3 million signing bonus, and his cap hit for 2013 is $2 million.
Tania Ganguli reports that Quin's deal with the Lions is worth $23.5 million over five years. He received a $5.25 million signing bonus, and he has a cap hit of $2.05 million for 2013.
Jones received a contract similar to the one Levy got. It's for $9.5 million over three years, according to Daniel Jeremiah, and it has a signing bonus of $2.5 million. Jones only has a cap hit of $1.83 million for the 2013 season.
