Current, former Lions players react to free agency on Twitter

A look at what current and former Detroit Lions players have had to say about NFL free agency on Twitter this week.

NFL free agency has been underway since Tuesday, and it has produced a whole lot of news for the Detroit Lions. It has also produced several notable tweets from current and former Lions players. Let's see what they have had to say about this crazy week of free agency.

Let's start with the reaction to Reggie Bush, Jason Jones and Glover Quin signing with the Lions.

And how about some tweets from a couple of the players who signed?

Players also reacted to the news of some Lions free agents signing with other teams.

The next major development came on Thursday when Jeff Backus announced his retirement, and several players took to Twitter to react to the news.

On Friday, the headline-grabbing move was Louis Delmas re-signing with the Lions.

And finally, the best tweet of all from this week came from Justin Durant. He hasn't been signed yet, and he had some fun with his current situation by joking about potentially going to work for Chick-fil-A.

This tweet resulted in a hilarious picture (and new avatar for Durant):

Hang in there, Justin. Hang in there.
