Just how badly do the Detroit Lions want to land free-agent running back Reggie Bush? Enough that players on the team are apparently recruiting Bush to join the Lions, according to CBS Sports' Mike Freeman.
Lions player tells me some Detroit players recruiting Reggie Bush. We'll see if it works.

Lions wide receiver Nate Burleson made it known on NFL Network last month that he wants Bush to land in Detroit by making a pitch to the running back. It has also been speculated that Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford might be doing some recruiting of his own considering he started following Bush on Twitter a few weeks ago.
Right now, we don't know just how much interest the Lions have in Bush from a front office perspective, but already it's been reported that three teams have "significant" interest in signing him. It's looking like at least a few teams will be competing for Bush's services, so having current players recruit him seems to be a wise idea for the Lions.
