2013 NFL mock draft: Bills select Justin Hunter

The Buffalo Bills take Justin Hunter with the 41st pick of the 2013 POD Community Mock Draft.

Jim Brown-US PRESSWIRE

With the 41st pick in Pride Of Detroit's 2013 NFL mock draft, the Buffalo Bills select Tennessee wide receiver Justin Hunter. CLF is serving as the Bills' general manager, and his reasoning for the pick is below.

Pick No. 41 has presented the Buffalo Bills with too many options. Offensive guards Larry Warford and Kyle Long would just about erase the memory of Andy Levitre. Brandon Williams from Missouri Southern would stabilize and add depth for the new 3-4 defense. Jamar Taylor or Blidi Wreh-Wilson would be good picks at cornerback, and Alex Okafor or Damontre Moore could be a great pass rusher at OLB.

With the war room in chaos and at a deafening noise level, Buddy Nix ignores everyone and quietly turns in the envelope ... The Buffalo Bills select Justin Hunter, WR, Tennessee.

With the Bills selecting Geno Smith in Round 1, they stick with offense and keep their draft sexy with the tall, speedy WR from Tennessee. Justin stands 6'4" and turned out a 4.44 40 time at the combine. Though he had an ACL tear in 2011, Hunter bounced back to prove he is the real deal in 2012 with 73 receptions, 1,083 yards and 9 TDs. He is the perfect complement to Stevie Johnson and will provide the deep threat needed to keep pressure off of the young QB.
