The Detroit Lions enter the 2013 NFL Draft with a total of eight picks. Just how many picks they will end up finishing with remains to be seen, as there is expected to be plenty of activity on the trade market in this year's draft. The Lions could end up moving around in the first round, and they most certainly could be on the move later in the draft.
As a reminder, here are the Lions' eight current picks (asterisk denotes compensatory selection):
- Round 1 - Pick No. 5 (5)
- Round 2 - Pick No. 4 (36)
- Round 3 - Pick No. 3 (65)
- Round 4 - Pick No. 35 (132)*
- Round 5 - Pick No. 4 (137)
- Round 6 - Pick No. 3 (171)
- Round 7 - Pick No. 5 (211)
- Round 7 - Pick No. 39 (245)*
The Lions own all of their original picks except the fourth-rounder, which was traded to the Minnesota Vikings during last year's draft. Also, the Lions have two compensatory picks this year.
