2013 NFL Draft results: Lions trade 137th pick to Seahawks

Just five spots after selecting South Carolina defensive end Devin Taylor, the Detroit Lions went back on the clock. They weren't on the clock for long, though, as they completed their first trade of the 2013 NFL Draft.

The Lions made a deal with the Seattle Seahawks for the 137th overall pick (the fourth pick in the fifth round). By giving up their original fifth-rounder, the Lions received the 165th overall pick (the 32nd pick in the fifth round) and the 199th overall pick (the 31st pick in the sixth round). Essentially, the Lions received a late sixth-rounder for moving down to the end of the fifth round.

Following this trade, the Lions now have the following five picks left in this draft:

• Round 5 - Pick No. 32 (165) | From Ravens through Seahawks
  
• Round 6 - Pick No. 3 (171)
• Round 6 - Pick No. 31 (199) | From 49ers through Ravens and Seahawks
• Round 7 - Pick No. 5 (211)
  
• Round 7 - Pick No. 39 (245)*
