Lions offseason schedule: OTAs resume on Tuesday

The Detroit Lions will be back at work on Tuesday to begin their next round of OTAs.

Leon Halip

The next round of Detroit Lions OTAs begins on Tuesday. The first set of OTAs was held last week with three sessions taking place over the course of three days. This week, the Lions have practice on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.

Once the Lions wrap up this week, they will have only four OTAs left. All of them are going to be held next week, as there is practice on Monday and Tuesday and two more sessions on Thursday and Friday. Then, the Lions will break for the weekend before coming back for a mandatory minicamp from June 11-13.

Here's the full OTA/minicamp schedule:

OTAs

May 28-29
May 31
June 3-4
June 6-7

Minicamp

June 11-13

Heads up: Don't expect there to be any news on the OTAs this week until Wednesday. Just like last week, the Lions are only opening up one OTA to the media, meaning the other two sessions will be pretty light in terms of news.
