With the 2013 NFL Draft and free agency in the rear-view mirror, the first part of the offseason is now complete. The Detroit Lions can now turn their focus to actual football, and they will later this week when their rookie minicamp is held. OTAs and a team-wide minicamp will take place as well before the team gets some time off in the coming months. Then it's back to Allen Park at the end of July for training camp and the preseason in August.
The Lions will go into training camp with 90 players, and they have already almost reached that number. As of Tuesday, the Lions have 89 players on their roster if you include the nine draft picks. The 90th spot is expected to be filled by safety Trevor Coston, but he hasn't officially been signed just yet. As a result, the Lions, for now, have one open spot on their roster. Take a look:
