Lions notes: Ronnell Lewis apologizes on Twitter for arrest

  • Detroit Lions defensive end Ronnell Lewis was arrested last month on three misdemeanor complaints following a bar fight. After the arrest happened, he apologized to Lions general manager Martin Mayhew upon returning to Allen Park. On Tuesday night, he made another apology, this time to fans via Twitter.
  • The Lions made it a point to get bigger at defensive end this offseason, and they have done just that.
  • Lions linebacker Stephen Tulloch is going to be honored as the team's 2012 Ron Kramer Award recipient (given to the team's "unsung hero") next week.
