With the Detroit Lions bringing their offseason training program to a close last week, they are now off until training camp begins in July. It's a summer vacation of sorts for players and coaches, but it hasn't started just yet for the Lions' draft picks. They stayed in Michigan this week to take a tour of Ford Field, which gave them an up-close look at their new home stadium.

Via the Free Press, here's what Lions defensive end Ziggy Ansah had to say about touring Ford Field and walking out of the tunnel:
"It was funny ’cause I was just thinking about that," Ansah said. "I’m like, ‘Man, how great would it be just coming out of the tunnel, everybody screaming, yelling, about to take the first snap.’ It was really touching to me. Right now, I’m getting a little bit emotional, but I’m trying not to."
Next week, the Lions' draft picks will head to Ohio for the NFC's rookie symposium from June 26-29. Then they will really get some time off before returning to Allen Park in July for training camp.
