Four Detroit Lions players who had missed OTAs the last couple weeks because of injuries were on the field on Tuesday. They weren't full participants, but running back Mikel Leshoure, wide receiver Ryan Broyles, defensive end Devin Taylor and cornerback Darius Slay were all able to practice on a limited basis on Tuesday.

Leshoure and Taylor are both working their way back from hamstring injuries. Leshoure was especially happy to return to practice, but he admitted that he is being extra careful in order to make sure he's 100 percent healthy when training camp arrives. From the Free Press:

"During the season, it never really got a chance to rest and get it exactly where I wanted it to be at," Leshoure. "But like I said, it’s off-season OTAs, it’s no time to be out here trying to rush and do things. I’m not saying I haven’t been trying to get back. That’s been the plan. But we’re just being a little bit smarter this year, and I feel good today. Today was a good day for me."

Broyles and Slay are both coming back from knee injuries. Broyles has been rehabbing a torn ACL since the injury happened last season, whereas Slay is recovering from minor knee surgery that he had last month. Slay told the Free Press that he already "feels back to normal," so that's a good sign for his status going forward.
