Detroit Lions training camp doesn't officially begin until the players hit the field for their first practice on Friday. You can tell that we are getting close, though, as the Lions' rookies reported for camp on Monday. The rest of the team will have to report to camp by Thursday, but quite a few guys are already in Allen Park.
Just ran into @ziggy_ansah at the #Lions practice facility. He said he's ready to work and can't wait for the pads to come on.

Before camp begins, players will go through physicals and a conditioning test. Then, on Friday, training camp will officially open with practice No. 1 of the summer.
