Football is finally back. The Detroit Lions opened their 2013 training camp on Friday afternoon with a practice on their outdoor fields in Allen Park. The practice was unpadded, and it spanned a few hours. Lions owner William Clay Ford even showed up in his Mustang golf cart to observe the start of camp.
There was lots of news produced by Friday's practice, and Pride Of Detroit will have a recap of everything with posts on the offense, defense and special teams in the coming hours. Also, keep an eye out for some injury news involving Louis Delmas and Ziggy Ansah.
