The most notable injury-related story from Day 3 of Detroit Lions training camp involved cornerback Ron Bartell's absence. He was stuck on the sideline after banging up his shoulder on Saturday. The injury didn't appear serious at the time, and it's worth noting that he didn't have a sling or wrap on his shoulder on Sunday, according to Chris McCosky. Even so, he wasn't able to practice, so his injury will be worth keeping an eye on going forward.
In other injury news, the usual group of wide receiver Devin Thomas, center Leroy Harris, defensive end Ronnell Lewis and linebacker Carmen Messina were out again. Thomas and Harris remain on the PUP list, while Lewis is still on the NFI list. Messina, meanwhile, missed his second day in a row because of what is believed to be a hamstring injury.
On Sunday, only one new injury appears to have happened. Jonte Green left the practice after possibly injuring his right hamstring. He didn't return, so like the situation with Bartell, his injury will be worth monitoring going forward.
Finally, it's time for our daily Louis Delmas update. The good news is that he was able to practice on Sunday, and according to Justin Rogers, Delmas didn't even have a brace on his knee. Also, it sounds like he was once again in good spirits.
Delmas, naturally, dances and fires up the crowd at the front of the stretching line. #Lions

The bad news is that Delmas exited the practice after briefly taking part in the 7-on-7 drill. At that point, he had ice on his knee. This is similar to what happened on Friday, so it's probably all a part of the Lions' plan of being extra careful with how much work Delmas gets in order to make sure he stays healthy.
