Pro Football Talk has unveiled the next 25 spots in its top 100 list, which was voted on by members of the NFL media. This batch of rankings includes Detroit Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh, who came in at No. 54 on the list.
This is actually 14 spots lower than Suh's ranking in NFL Network's top 100, which was based on votes by players in the league. He was 40th on that particular list, meaning players apparently think a bit more highly of him than members of the media.
This was also the case for Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford. He was ranked 76th in NFL Network's top 100, but PFT only had him 87th.
I personally think Suh is far too low in PFT's rankings. I get that Suh's numbers weren't out of this world or anything last season, and I also get that he probably doesn't have the greatest reputation in the world with media members. However, he did have 8.0 sacks last season, and he was absolutely dominant toward the end of 2012.
I just have a hard time believing there are 53 players in the NFL more talented than him.
