New Lions depth chart basically the same as last week

Only minor changes were made to the Detroit Lions depth chart this week.

Andrew Weber-USA TODAY Sports

The Detroit Lions have released their depth chart for Thursday's game against the Cleveland Browns. As usual, the depth chart is unofficial, and it actually is almost exactly the same as the one that came out last week. The only difference involves adding a player who was signed and removing one who was released. Take a look:

It's worth noting that the depth chart from last week differed from what the Lions' actual starting lineup looked like when they took on the New York Jets. Corey Hilliard started at right tackle, for example, and the Lions had Montell Owens on the field as a second running back instead of using a second tight end. Also, with Louis Delmas and Ron Bartell out, Don Carey and Darius Slay got a chance to start.

Basically, take this depth chart with a grain of salt. The Lions release it only because they have to, and it's not always a reflection of what their plans are when it comes to who gets to start.
