- The Lions' captains on Thursday night were Joique Bell, Matt Willis and Andre Fluellen.
-
Montell Owens, Michael Williams and Ziggy Ansah didn't make the trip to Buffalo because the Lions felt it was best for their recovery to stay back in Michigan.
-
Blake Clingan stepped in for Sam Martin as the Lions' punter on Thursday. Martin is dealing with an injury, but it's not believed to be serious enough for him to miss any time in the regular season.
-
Jon Morgan injured his shoulder on Thursday and Martavius Neloms hurt his left foot. Both players will likely be waived/injured on Saturday.
-
Don Carey suffered an injury of his own and was wearing a brace on his right wrist, according to Josh Katzenstein. Later, Carey said on Twitter that he's "good."
