Lions injury report: Nick Fairley misses practice again

The Detroit Lions were once again without Nick Fairley at practice on Thursday.

Andrew Weber-USA TODAY Sports

The Detroit Lions were without four players at practice on Thursday. Three of them -- offensive tackle Jason Fox, defensive tackle Nick Fairley and safety Don Carey -- were out on Wednesday as well. Linebacker Ashlee Palmer joined them on the sideline on Thursday.

Fairley's injury definitely is the most concerning of the bunch. He hurt his shoulder last Sunday, and it's unclear at this point if the Lions are keeping him out for precautionary reasons or if he's actually in jeopardy of missing this week's game against the Arizona Cardinals. Hopefully it's the former and Fairley is just getting some time off before returning on Sunday.

Here's the Lions' full Thursday injury report:

RB Reggie Bush (finger/groin) - Fully practiced
OT Jason Fox (groin) - Did not practice
DE Jason Jones (knee) - Fully practiced
DT Nick Fairley (shoulder) - Did not practice
LB Ashlee Palmer (ankle) - Did not practice
S Don Carey (hamstring) - Did not practice
S Louis Delmas (knee) - Limited in practice
S John Wendling (ankle) - Limited in practice
