The biggest news from Wednesday's Detroit Lions practice was the absence of running back Reggie Bush. After injuring his left knee on Sunday in Arizona, Bush missed practice on Wednesday to get treatment on it. ESPN's Chris Mortensen reports that Bush's status is "very questionable" for Sunday against the Washington Redskins because of the injury.
On a positive note, Lions defensive tackle Nick Fairley practiced on Wednesday. It turns out he nearly played last week, so hopefully this is a sign that he will be back on the field this week.
Here's the Lions' full injury report from Wednesday:
RB Reggie Bush (knee) - Did not practice
WR Patrick Edwards (ankle) - Did not practice
OT Jason Fox (groin) - Did not practice
OG Rob Sims (knee) - Limited in practice
DT Nick Fairley (shoulder) - Limited in practice
