- Detroit Lions safety Louis Delmas and defensive end Israel Idonije were both fined this week by the NFL. Idonije was docked $15,750 for going low on Carson Palmer, while Delmas was fined $5,250 for wearing the wrong color socks. Seriously. (Even better, the New York Jets' Nick Mangold was not fined for this hit. So you can go low on a guy who is out of bounds and not be fined, but don't you dare wear the wrong socks.)
- Never change, Gunther Cunningham.
- MLive did a Q&A with Ryan Broyles this week.
- ESPN has a recap of all the different formations the Lions used last week against the Arizona Cardinals.
- The Lions' official site has a pretty interesting video from WXYZ with Matthew Stafford.
- The New England Patriots recently worked out a pair of former Lions defensive backs: Myron Lewis and DeQuan Menzie.
