As is usually the case after a win, the Detroit Lions jumped up a bit in this week's NFL power rankings. Thanks to their first road win ever at Washington, the Lions went up two spots on ESPN and Pro Football Talk and three spots on CBS Sports and FOX Sports. Only SB Nation kept them in the same spot, although that's partly because the Lions didn't drop much in those particular rankings after losing in Week 2. Take a look:
- SB Nation: 16th (no change)
- ESPN: 16th (up from 18th)
- CBS Sports: 18th (up from 21st)
- FOX Sports: 14th (up from 17th)
- Pro Football Talk: 16th (up from 18th)
The Chicago Bears, the Lions' opponent this week, are ranked fourth (SB Nation), fourth (ESPN), seventh (CBS Sports), fourth (FOX Sports) and sixth (Pro Football Talk). I'm surprised they aren't consistently higher considering they are 3-0, but I guess a lot of people aren't believers in the Bears just yet. Hopefully the Lions will prove those people right in Week 4.
