The Detroit Lions had a lot of guys on their injury report this week, but nearly everybody was able to practice in the lead-up to Sunday's game. Offensive tackle Jason Fox, for example, was able to get on the field after missing a few weeks with a groin injury, and wide receiver Patrick Edwards was back after hurting his ankle earlier in the month.
Both players may have taken part in practice this week, but neither is going to play on Sunday against the Chicago Bears. Fox and Edwards are both inactive, indicating that they aren't quite ready to return to game action at this time. As a result, Corey Hilliard will continue to start at right tackle, and the Lions will have to look elsewhere at wide receiver as they try to replace Nate Burleson. (In other lineup news, Rashean Mathis is once again going to start over Darius Slay at cornerback.)
Here's the Lions' full list of inactives:
QB Kellen Moore
RB Mikel Leshoure
WR Nate Burleson
WR Patrick Edwards
OT Jason Fox
C Leroy Harris
DT D'Anthony Smith
And here are the Bears' inactives:
WR Marquess Wilson
WR Joe Anderson
OT James Brown
OT Jonathan Scott
DE David Bass
DT Zach Minter
CB Sherrick McManis
