• Pro Football Focus' All-Preseason team includes both Willie Young and Bill Bentley. Young had a +8.4 grade for the preseason, while Bentley scored a +5.5 grade. Hopefully both of them will carry their strong play over to the regular season.
  
  
• DeJon Gomes is officially a member of the Detroit Lions after passing his physical on Monday.
  
  
• ESPN's Lions preview is up, and all five analysts have them finishing third or fourth in the NFC North.
  
  
• Minnesota Vikings defensive tackle Kevin Williams missed practice on Monday, and he may miss Sunday's game against the Lions.
  
  
• Cincinnati Bengals defensive tackle Geno Atkins received a five-year extension worth $55 million on Monday. He is considered by most to be one of the top defensive tackles in the NFL.
  
  
• The Green Bay Packers have signed Seneca Wallace to be their backup quarterback.
