Detroit Lions cornerbacks Rashean Mathis and Chris Houston both left Sunday's game with injuries. Their status immediately after the game wasn't clear, but Jim Schwartz provided updates on both players during his Monday press conference.
The news on Mathis is good. Schwartz said on Monday that Mathis wasn't actually diagnosed with a concussion during Sunday's game, but he was held out anyway as a precaution (perhaps because the Chicago Bears' doctors wouldn't clear him). On Monday, Mathis actually worked out, so all signs point to him being good to go this week.
Houston's status is far less certain for Sunday's game against the Green Bay Packers given Schwartz's lack of insight into the injury.
Schwartz on Houston: "At this point it doesn't appear as though it's more than day to day, week to week. But we'll wait and see on that"

It sort of seems like Houston's status will continue to be up in the air throughout the week. Obviously his practice status will give us an idea about whether or not he will play at Lambeau Field, but even then we may have to wait until Sunday to see if he's actually active and ready to go.
