The Detroit Lions' first official injury report of the 2013 season is out, and it confirms that defensive end Ziggy Ansah is dealing with a concussion. Jim Schwartz may have refused to even talk about the injury, but we now know for sure that Ansah has missed time because he's recovering from a concussion.
Actually, Ansah was the only Lions player who didn't practice on Wednesday. This is their entire injury report:
DE Ziggy Ansah (concussion) - Did not practice
S Louis Delmas (knee) - Limited in practice
Ansah may not have practiced, but he at least took part in some activities.
Ziggy Ansah out here without helmet again. Went thru warmups and ran sprints with trainer. Good sign. Injury report at 4

Hopefully this is a sign that Ansah is on track to be cleared to return in time for Sunday's game against the Minnesota Vikings. The Lions have to be extra careful with him since it's a concussion, but the fact that he was running seems to indicate that he's at least on the right track.
