Back in June, when we last did an approval poll for Detroit Lions offensive coordinator Scott Linehan, he received a 43 percent rating. That was actually the lowest rating of the four approval polls we did in June. Clearly, the frustration over the Lions' problems with scoring on a consistent basis hadn't yet gone away.
As the 2013 regular season nears and we do another approval poll for Linehan, I'm very interested to see what his rating will be given what happened in the preseason. The first-team offense's struggles from last year continued, especially with Matthew Stafford. It remains to be seen how much of that was because the Lions were without key players and wanted to keep it vanilla, but that could impact Linehan's rating.
In any case, go vote in the poll below and leave your thoughts in the comments.
