This week, Marshall Faulk's question has to do with late-game situations. Specifically, he wants to know what we think the Detroit Lions would do in a situation where they are down by six points, have two minutes left and are at their own 30-yard line. To answer Faulk's question, I simply present the following video:
On Oct. 27 last year, the Lions were down by six points to the Dallas Cowboys, and they had to go 80 yards with only 1:02 left on the clock. The pressure was on for Matthew Stafford and the Lions, and they rose to the occasion with a magnificent final drive (via ESPN):
I think that sufficiently answers Mr. Faulk's question.
(And while we're reliving this great moment, don't forget that Stafford was mic'd up for the Cowboys game.)
