It appears that the Detroit Lions are once again going to be down several weapons on offense this week. Running back Reggie Bush, for example, is doubtful to play on Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons after not practicing on Thursday and Friday. Tight end Brandon Pettigrew is also doubtful, and tight ends Eric Ebron and Joseph Fauria have already been declared out for Sunday's game.
On a positive note, wide receiver Calvin Johnson was able to practice on a limited basis for three consecutive days this week. He is officially questionable for Sunday, but the chances of him playing seem to be increasing. It would certainly be nice to simply rest him going into the bye week, but with their top three tight ends and starting running back sidelined, the Lions could be in serious need of Megatron on Sunday.
