- On his 59-yard bomb to Golden Tate, Matthew Stafford set the Detroit Lions' franchise record for career touchdown passes. Bobby Layne previously held the record with 118, and now Stafford holds that mark with 120 (and counting).
- Stafford just has a knack for comeback victories:

- Tate is a pretty talented wide receiver.
Golden Tate (DET): 4th 100-yd receiving game in last 5 contests. 3 in first 61 career NFL games.
— ESPN Stats & Info (@ESPNStatsInfo) October 26, 2014Golden Tate also the second #Lions receiver in team history with 50-plus catches in first eight games. Other was Herman Moore.
— Michael Rothstein (@mikerothstein) October 26, 2014#Lions Golden Tate has 17 catches for 305 yards and 2 TD in the last two games.

- This was a great line from Matt Prater after Sunday's game:
Matt Prater: "They send me out to make field goals, not attempt them. I’m happy I came through." #OnePride
— Detroit Lions (@Lions) October 26, 2014
- The Lions' delay of game penalty that preceded Prater's game-winning field goal was most definitely a good thing.
Matt Prater on the delay of game penalty making it a longer kick: "The footing was bad at that spot so I was happy to move it back."

- The Lions have been a lot better in the second half than the first half the last two weeks, to say the least.
The #Lions have now outscored their opponents 43-13 in 2nd halves of the last two games for a pair of epic comeback wins. #OnePride

- On a related note, Teryl Austin apparently gave quite a speech to the Lions defense at halftime on Sunday.
Lions DE Jason Jones on DC Teryl Austin's halftime speech: "I can’t repeat that one. Just know he lit a fire under us."

- Jim Caldwell had no comment when asked on Sunday about why C.J. Mosley was suspended.
- This was a nice touch by FOX:
