It's officially time to stop listening to what Detroit Lions running back Reggie Bush has to say about his injury status. I say that because for the second week in a row, Bush is inactive after indicating that he was ready to play. He may feel ready, but clearly the Lions' doctors disagree. His return will have to wait until after Thanksgiving.
Also out for the Lions on Thanksgiving is starting left tackle Riley Reiff. His absence is no surprise considering he just got injured four days ago. With him out, the Lions will start undrafted rookie Cornelius Lucas at left tackle, adding even more uncertainty to an offensive line that has struggled all season.
Here's the full list of inactives for the Lions:
QB Kellen Moore
RB Reggie Bush
WR Ryan Broyles
OT Riley Reiff
OG Larry Warford
DE Larry Webster
DT Nick Fairley
And here are the Chicago Bears' inactives for Thursday:
WR Chris Williams
OG Eben Britton
DE Trevor Scott
DT Jeremiah Ratliff
LB Lance Briggs
LB Darryl Sharpton
CB Terrance Mitchell
