Do you approve of the job Martin Mayhew is doing as general manager of the Detroit Lions? Vote now.

Andrew Weber-USA TODAY Sports

After seeing his approval rating plummet in the summer, Detroit Lions general manager Martin Mayhew has had a much better last couple of months. His approval rating rose to 76 percent in September, and it went all the way up to 84 percent in October with the Lions off to a 6-2 start. Take a look:

October 2014: 84% approval
September 2014: 76% approval
August 2014: 58% approval
July 2014:
69% approval
June 2014: 78% approval
May 2014: 77% approval
April 2014:
74% approval
March 2014: 80% approval
January 2014: 74% approval
December 2013: 87% approval
November 2013: 82% approval
October 2013:
87% approval
September 2013: 70% approval
June 2013: 73% approval

Now, the Lions are 8-4 with the month of November coming to a close. They're in position to potentially make the playoffs, and they could even win the NFC North and earn a first-round bye with a strong finish to the season. It obviously remains to be seen if that will happen, but the Lions are right in the thick of things with December approaching.

So, do you approve of the job Mayhew is doing as general manager of the Lions? Vote now in the poll below and leave your thoughts in the comments.
